Your NOW is your power base!

"The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness." - Abraham Maslow

Being in the present moment releases the grip of past negative thoughts or events. It also stops our negative self-talk and thinking regarding something in the future that has yet to be created. When you are gently focused on the present and on what makes you happy, you are bringing more happy thoughts and events to you. When that happens, your mind begins to relax and your body responds on a cellular level to your positive attitude and mindset.

We are born connected to the universal energy stream of well-being. Our positive thoughts focused in the "now", allow us to remain in that stream and enjoy the fullness of our mental and physical wellness.

Focus, Aim, Succeed

"The odds of hitting your target go up dramatically when you aim at it." - Mal Pancoast.

This quote, when applied correctly, will take you from "thinking" about your dreams, to "realizing" your dreams!

Since our thoughts create our reality, when you focus on the end result of what you want, you set in motion all that's necessary to bring it about. If you allow yourself to get bogged down in the details, you actually slow the process down.

Your God/Source knows what you need and want and your Inner Being will guide you to it, if you let it. Relax and know you're always in good hands and what you want is waiting for you to claim it.

Visualization, The Path to Success!

"If you want to reach a goal, you must "see the reaching" in your own mind before you actually arrive at your goal." - Ziz Ziglar

Visualization is an amazing tool once you learn how to use it. As I've spoke of in my book, "Chasing the Shark: A Journey from Fear to Freedom", our thoughts have power. When you hold a thought long enough, it becomes a belief. Our belief system governs the outcomes of our choices.

When you take the time to focus on the end result you want, you put into play all that's necessary for that outcome to materialize. Don't get bogged down in the details. They will take care of themselves. Just know in your heart that you want the result you want and keep pictures in your mind of how you want that end result to look.

When I was recovering from my heart attack and the staph infection, I put my mind on total healing and kept pictures around of me scuba diving and skiing. I "saw" myself doing that again! I knew that if I let my current condition dictate my life, that would be all I would see for the future.

Thinking from the end and having positive expectations, are the keys to bringing it about in your life. Empower yourself by taking charge of your thoughts and you will be guided to the results you want!

Be happy knowing that your future is waiting for you.

Think and live BIG!

"There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living"- Nelson Mandela

Your thoughts dictate your life and how you live it! Learning how to harness that power and use your thoughts to bring about what you want most in life is a journey worth taking. Begin with changing just one thought.

Change a negative perspective to a positive one and watch your life take on more meaning and joy!

Today's Leap of Faith

“The way you overcome…is to become so wrapped up in something that you forget to be afraid.” – Lady Bird Johnson

Imagine standing on the edge of a cliff, peering down into the dark frightening abyss only to shudder at the possibility of falling in and disappearing? How many of us would have the courage to step off that cliff and glide over the steepening canyon below, knowing we are fearless and safe, our bodies securely hooked into a harness attached to a glider that sails effortlessly into the sky, shadowing the land below like a giant eagle.

The desire to dare, the courage to forge forward despite an apparent fear is what makes us grow and become. To take that chance, to do it in spite of a strong urging to stay the course, is what causes us to finally fit into our own skin, knowing that once we step off into space we will be fulfilling a childhood fantasy, a long-held dream, or a wished-for delight that has been kept from us by our own false sense of frailty.

Becoming so engrossed in our desire that we see nothing else but the gleaming light of its own fulfillment creates a space within us where we can act as if we were born to do it. This space is a place where courage turns into action and action into an impetus more powerful than ever imagined. For within us is the strength and power to do whatever we so desire.

Now is the time to be brave and overcome.
